An Indiana native, Chris has lived all over the country and in Canada, but returned to her hometown of Fort Wayne 5 years ago. Certified to perform weddings in Indiana and other States, Chris has performed wedding ceremonies for 18 years for the Lawrence Township Small Claims Court (Courthouse Weddings) in Indianapolis, as well as several wedding chapels in and around the Indianapolis area. Opening Marry Me In Fort Wayne, winner of the 2014 Fort Wayne Newspapers Readers' Choice Award, is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream for Chris. Dedicated to providing the most professional, affordable and experienced Wedding Officiants, Wedding Planning Professionals, Wedding Day Coordinators and Event Decor Stylists in the area, Chris constantly strives to maintain the highest standards for the entire Marry Me In Fort Wayne team. She wants to make your Fort Wayne Wedding (and surrounding areas) exactly how you envision it to be. Chris derives joy from uniting couples and helping make their ceremony one they have dreamed of. She has performed hundreds of ceremonies in various settings for more than seventeen years and has devoted her career to making your wedding day as special as possible. Chris brought the innovative idea for a Wedding Officiant Company to this area after realizing that many couples prefer to be married in their back yards, at public parks, at local venues, Courthouse Weddings and many other untraditional sites. While not sacrificing quality, this provides more options for the Bride and Groom to have a ceremony that truly reflects their unique personalities and tastes. Chris is married and the mother of two grown children and Grandmother to two. Besides performing weddings, Chris spends her time re-purposing vintage furniture with paint and embellishments.

Doug is no stranger to the people business. He started working in his father's store behind the counter dealing with customers at 12 years old. That turned into his first business venture later that year with his brother mowing lawns. Jobs in retail, working with youth at his church, following his passion in music through singing and in band while in school, and later jobs in retail and law enforcement helped lay the foundation for dealing with people. All of that, combined with return to college as an adult to earn a bachelor's degree from Indiana University in liberal arts, lead him to his current profession as a life coach and strategist for personal and small business development. When asked why he was interested in Officiating weddings through Marry Me In Fort Wayne, he replied: "I can't think of a better way to work with people than to join them together forever!" Doug is a father of two college age children (adults now!) and is privileged to share the music stage with them each occasionally. He continues to grow his professional coaching and strategist practice, as well as maintains his music a career as a local and regional professional vocalist. He likes the personal touch that Marry Me In Fort Wayne provides for clients and most enjoys getting to meet with and know the clients that he works with in his own businesses, as well as the wedding couples he meets.
